A Different Kind Of Church
Especially for people recovering from addictions.

"What is a church?"

A note from the pastor.

Many people today think of the church as a building. This is not a biblical understanding of the church. The word “church” comes from the Greek word ekklesia which is defined as “an assembly” or “called-out ones.” The root meaning of “church” is not that of a building, but of people.

Recovery Fellowship is an assembly of called-out ones. We are a group of Christians who choose to meet together to study the scriptures and pray. We are, therefore, a church.

We are also a church filled with living miracles – people God has rescued and delivered from terrible lives. We love to share our testimonies of what God has done for us. Come see for yourself. We accept all God sends our way, whether you are Christian or not.

We consider it our privilege to love you, so we will concentrate on that, instead of trying to tell you what to believe or how to approach God. If any change comes, that is between you and the Lord. So whether you attend another church, or not, you are welcome to join us as we study the scriptures and pray together.

God bless,

Rev. Steve Holder
